In the image above, you can see that Maestro, or any web client (Chrome, IE) requires a URL to a web server. You have installed a web server and MapGuide Web Extensions and MapGuide Server on your local computer (that is why you refer to it as localhost aka 127.0.0.1 ). You will need to install MapGuide Server and Web Extensions and a Web Server (Apache or Microsoft IIS) on a server that is visible to the internet. (DMZ, Hosted Site, Your computer with a public IP address, etc). Then you can use that IP to communicate with MapGuide. Then you can register a domain, forward the IP to your MapGuide Computer (just like you would do with any web site). -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Setting-Maestro-to-move-the-application-to-a-Web-site-tp5057363p5057467.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
