I was wondering if any workarounds were discovered to compile FDO as 32-bit during the testing phases on 2.5.0 during January/February 2013 to build source code on CentOS.
The common ELF CLASS errors appear after using the build scripts as is (i.e. compiling in 64-bit). I modified build_thirdparty.sh and build_linux.sh to use './configure CPPFLAGS=-m32 LDFLAGS=-m32' but that failed to create libFDO-3.8.0.so altogether. The goal is to add external FDO Providers to the standard CentOS tarball package install (which works great on the same 64-bit system). -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/64-bit-version-for-Linux-tp5064699p5065868.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
