I concur. If you really want to run the latest version of software, shouldn't that apply to the OS as well?

Not even the MgInstantSetup bundle will work. The reason is because the codebase has moved to VS2012 as the defacto windows compiler. VS2012 compiled code will not run on XP/2003 unless we compile the code with the Windows XP targeting pack. I *really* don't want to waste build resources to build/verify 2.6 to support a version of Windows that will be end-of-life several months after the scheduled release of 2.6. - Jackie -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Upcoming-MapGuide-release-schedule-tp5070801p5071044.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
