It has taken some time to get here but I can say that I was able to install and configure a 32 bit version of Mapguide 2.51 and the performance of the 3 affected data sources is double or better. That is to say, using 32 bit Mapguide and 32 bit Access ODBC driver works more than twice as fast as 64 bit.
