ok, I resolved this. The problem was that the tif file was located that was not in the path of server installation. I created a folder in the server installation path i.e. C:/Program Files/OSGeo/MapGuide/Server/TestData/ and placed the tif file there. Then, I created a GDAL Feature Source, using the following
