Here is a work around (only for MapGuide 3.1.2) but there is no guarantee that it will last.
1. Remove your Google Maps Streets 2. Create a new XYZ layer 3. For Google Streets use: https://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=m&x=${x}&y=${y}&z=${z} 4. For Google Hybrid use: https://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=y&x=${x}&y=${y}&z=${z} 5.
