Hi everyone,
I'm facing an issue with a map I've created in MapGuide. Initially, the map had
an even larger number of layers, but I noticed that the loading would
completely freeze. I have since removed some layers, and the map now contains
293 layers organized into 127 groups and subgroups.
Despite this reduction, the map's loading time is still extremely slow, taking
over a minute to fully load. It's important to note that upon loading, only two
layers (administrative boundaries) are actually visible, yet the slowness
persists.
I would like to know if there is a limit to the number of layers and groups
that a map can handle without affecting performance. Additionally, what are the
best strategies to optimize the map's loading time? Any suggestions on
improving performance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Piera
