Probably Chris Fleet (sleeves rolled up) in NLS Map Library is pre-occupied in preparing for an approaching temporary closure of reading facilities. For those intending visitors from south of the border (or even further abroad) here's a notice - FYI - on the e-mailed 'NLS News' posted earlier today. It will re-open on Tuesday 21 September in the same building but with the new entrance around the corner at 159 Causewayside. There will be some disruption from mid-August as we prepare for the move and we apologise for any inconvenience this will cause but we hope that you will come and visit us in our new home. Francis Herbert (who might well have chosen that weekend, after present EIF crowds had dissolved, for a visit . . .)
