Hello Michael. There is a 1991 article by Kenneth Nebenzahl, with some

. The Jan. 1934 issue of the _Filson Club History Quarterly_ has this:
Filson's History and map of Kentucky, by R.C. Ballard Thuston
I cannot find a copy of the article online. You should be able to find
this at a library in Boston, or get an ILL copy from a library, since
the journal is held by a number of institutions.
