Ortelius has not made a map of the South Pole.
Ortelius' Parergon map of the world, Aevi Veteris Typus (Ort 186, see also http://www.orteliusmaps.com/book/ort186.html ) does have climate zones, but no Ottoman texts.

I would be grateful for information on whether any edition of the Atlas Minor and any of the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum contains a map of the South Pole and a tabula climatum. If anybody should have an image of either of the two for me to compare with the corresponding images in Ottoman manuscripts, it would be very generous to share them with me.

Thank you very much, Sonja Brentjes
