The attached pages are from a ? Swiss, 18th century, travel manuscript to
Syria and the Holy Land. Text and drawings in sepia ink. I would like to
post this to the MapHist web site to see if anyone can identify where the
drawings and map are copied from and what do the pictures represent in the
Bible or New Testament. I think the text follows Dapper's book (German
edition).
