More than once today while I was watching television an ad came on
for the AARP supplemental Medicare insurance. It was mostly voice-over,
but it started with the speaker in an area displaying maps and globes.
This may indicate that maps and globes are coming back as positive icons
of something. Perhaps now is a time to suggest to manufacturers of
designer products that maps are an excellent design motif for products.
