For those who don't follow the David Rumsey blog, the following may be of interest. 'New From David Rumsey Map Collection: San Francisco Aerial Photographs 1938'. See Gary D. Price's entry on the INFODocket blog, yesterday, for the details, and the relevant links. http://infodocket.com/2011/10/24/new-from-david-rumsey-map-collection-san-francisco-aerial-photographs-1938/ I am happy to continue forwarding the always cheering news that comes from the David Rumsey collection (as long as Google remembers to continue alerting me to it). But I dare say others would appreciate it if announcements were made directly to MapHist, the only fully international list devoted to this subject. It would certainly be a more reliable route.
