I have developed a VB/MapX application and I am trying to create an install
disk using Installshield v2.11.
I've read the manuals, cover to cover, and I know can quote the MapX help on
'Distributing Your Applications' word for word, yet I still can't get
everything working 100%.
Depending on nip or tuck I try, I get different problems: Currently, and most
often, I am faced with a message from InstallShield say that MAPX30.OCX could
not self-register, I also periodically get 'Error 1011: Unexpected Error in
TMDL'....
Does anyone out there have any experience with MapX and Install shield?
I've tried asking MapInfo (UK) but they are relectant to help; The
installation of MapX is apparently not supported, besides they suggest that
the problem might be on the installshield side....
