Has anyone compared the geocoding capabilities of MapMarker/MapMarker PLUS and Microsoft's MapPoint? MapInfo wants $9k - 15k for their product, while MS charges around $85. I guess the quality can be compared around several characteristics: 1) Cleaning up addresses 2) Coverage 3) Updates 4) Accuracy Obviously a MapMarker subscription is going to be stronger in #3. What about the other areas? What is the vintage of the MapPoint address data? Has anyone tried running the two products against a single dataset for comparison purposes? _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
