Applied GIS, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of SDE MapInfo Client (SMC). SMC is a powerful data access and translation tool that allows for the easy exchange of data between ESRI's Spatial Database Engine (SDE) and MapInfo Professional. With SMC, SDE layers can now be accessed from within MapInfo and MapInfo tables can be "exported" into SDE as layers.
This product has clear benefits to both SDE and MapInfo users.
MapInfo users can access data stored in SDE.
MapInfo users can make their data available to SDE users.
SDE users can make their data available to MapInfo users.
SDE users can access data previously only available as MapInfo tables.
