I am having a problem with the erase outside command. I have a grid with
50,000 grid squares. I also have a circle that sits in the middle. I want
to erase everything outside the circle. I want this to be area proportional
also so if the circle cuts through a grid square it will erase part of the
square, not all or none of the square. This was not a problem in 5.0. It
would take less than a min. to do cut 50,000 objects. In 5.5 it takes 2
hours!!!! Why does it take this long? I noticed the buffer too in MI is
MUCH faster, but not the erasing has become some. Does anyone have any idea
about this?
