I shall be shortly starting work on my thesis "GIS as a tool for Town &
Country PLanners"
I was wondering:
1) if anyone is aware of similar studies that may have been carried in
this field?
2) are there any books that may be of assistance?
3) Does anyone working in this area have advise or information of how
they are using
GIS to assist in the decision making process? What are the problems
they experience?
4)I propose to produce a case study of a Planning Authority that have
successfully implemented GIS, are there any examples out there?
