Good day listers-
I've just recieved a new toy - a Canon colour laser printer. The print
quality is very high, and with some tinkering, the colour matching is not
bad. It's best with photos and "raster" type graphics from any software -
Except MapInfo (v5.01 in this case).
Here's the problem - When printing a raster airphoto overlaid with
topography, the Cannon dithers it out to a completely unusable cell size,
while the trusty HP755 makes a nice smooth image. I do know that the Canon
spends considerable time processing the image to PostScript3 internally
before shooting out the print.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Any help would be much
appreciated.
