I am having Dr. Watson crashes on my Windows NT 4.0 SP4 system.
After alot of investigation I have been able to reproduce the steps that
lead up to the crash. Unfortunately, I do not have a solution at this
time. If anyone at MapInfo is reading this, here are the steps to cause
the problem:
1. Open any table
2. Select * from <table> into <newtable>
3. Browse * from <newtable>
4. Interactively select some records in <newtable>
5. Browse * from Selection
6. Close Table <queryn> [where <queryn> is the table opened by the
previous browse command]
7. Interactively select other records in <newtable>
8. Browse * from Selection
9. Close Table <queryn> [where <queryn> is the table opened by the
previous browse command]
Dr. Watson Error:
MapInfow.exe
Exception access violation (0x0000005), Address 0x78001799
I am running MI 4.5.2, Visual Studio 6, as well as several other
development tools.
I tried reinstalling MI with no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
