I do not know if this answer is the best, but I could not wait to test with
this message if the list server is back on after the 20 or so blank messages
I received.
I guess that to pass your variable to the command you would have to use the
run command that way:
dim a as string
a="create variable....."+txt_var+" etc..."
run command a
Not knowing what was your real problem, it is the best I can do.
