MI OBJECT TEXT TO ATTRIBUTE TEXT

        Hello all
 Is there any way to Take object text and make that objects have an
attribute

ie

 I have 3 text objects with no attribute information  
  
1A
2A 
3A 

 I would like text object 1A  to have the attribute 1A

THUS

OBJECT            ATTRIBUTE
IA                            IA
2A                           2A
3A                           3A
