I don't think it has anything to do with a point limit because
I get exactly the same thing with fairly simple tables of a few
lines. I think Combine Layers sets the map extents using the
first table it processes, and then all other data from subsequent
tables gets 'squished' into the outside edge of the extents
(assuming your tables are like mine, adjacent "tiles" rather than
overlayed "transparencies"). I get exactly the same behaviour with
the Append2 toolbox.
Hopefully somebody who knows (and has) mapbasic can/will
fix this... <nudge> :)
