I don't know how these guys manage to put this stuff on the MI-List, but in
case anyone might be interested in the come-along, I pulled this from a WA
DMV FAQlist:
"Is an international driver's license valid in Washington?
Unless you are visiting from
another country, an
international driver's
license is not valid in a person's home
country. Anyone buying an
international license assuming
that it will get them out of
a license suspension or
revocation is mistaken.
Please beware of
international license offerings on the
internet. These licenses are
being sold to individuals under
false pretenses, and
exorbitant fees are charged in the
process. It's another example
of "buyer beware" on the
internet. "
