I am not certain this is entirely true. I have been spending time trying to
better understand what Oracle's 8i is all about and in particular how we in
the MapInfo matrix might gain the opportunity offered. I beleive the answer
is via Java and Oracle's 8i Lite. Oracle Lite is essentially the "thin"
client and one that I believe offers an answer. I believe the envrionment to
do all this remains a couple o months out.
More to come on what I am discovering on Oracle - many already know but I
didn't and will share what I am discovering.
