We've seen it too with MI 5.5 and Win NT4.0, so it isn't just a Win98
thing. We reported it to MI, but they said it is probably be a video
conflict, but it happens on many of our computers, all with different
hardware configurations. Sounds like a bug to me, MI just needs to
admit it and fix it.
A similar, but different issue is the incredibly poor map redraws in
5.5. It gets really flaky when panning around in complex map windows
(with lots of irregular polygons). Will that be fixed soon?
