While waiting for a response, I thought I would post it here to see if anyone has any answeres. thanx in advance gary I have some questions about creating a layout frame into an object variable. According to the book this can be done "create frame into variable myobj" When I do this within a layout statement, the frame does not appear on the layout How do I get it to appear? What command would I use later to reposition it? How would I query its position? How would I remove it from the layout? For that matter how do I do any of these things from within MapBasic even without representing the frame as a variable? None if these things are addressed in either the users manual or the command reference.
