You likely face the issue of setting parameters within the receiver itself.
Therefore you will need to get a hold of the "manual" of these control and
response strings. Uploading data for way point or other issues you very likely
will need to use their software.

As to the post processing of the Garmin data be cautious in your assumption.
This is neither simple nor direct generally and if I have my facts right, the
model of receiver does not have the capability to output the needed "raw" data
necessary. The necessary raw data to enable post processing requires a verbose
mode to gain access to the pusedo-range strings. As the data is verbose, it
will quickly fill available RAM space on the receiver itself. The only way
around this is to log the data in real-time to another device. This is the
rule rather than the exception.

When , receiver is capable of providing the raw pusedorange the output it is
typically binary and there for you'll need translation from a proprietary
format to a open format like RINEX. RINEX is the open methodology for
differential post processing.

Once you create the post-processed NMEA strings then the Blue Marble software
included with your Professional should be able to import.

Or you might want to consider contacting Red Hen Systems and use either FarmGPS
and/or EzDIFF. (970)-493-3952.
