I believe this has something to do with how MapBasic uses and releases
(doesn't release) memory. One application I wrote in MapBasic was simply a
timer that checked a directory every 15 mins and if files were there, it
created maps and processed them. You can open up a resource monitor in
Win95/98/NT and watch the memory slowly leak away.
Sorry, no solution, but a confirmation at least.
