another couple of cents

this is all starting to sound a lot like what ESRI did with Arc/Info 8.
If you could develop in VB say VC++ or delphi or whatever that would
make a lot of peoples lives a lot easier. Personally i do a lot of data
processing in MI and the ability to get the VC++ developers in my team
involved in writing utilities using MI is a mouth watering prospect.
it'd certainly make my life a lot easier

PS a 15th way of getting MI to crash. go away to russia for 3 months
lend your PC to a colleague come back to it and perform simple tasks
(save copy as etc...)
