I am a self taught 2 year learning curve MI user and have reached another of my plateaus. How do I go about saving mapper preferences so that whenever I open a new mapper I will have feet instead of miles, cursor location instead of zoom, etc? Is there a default settings menu I can change?? I am using MI5.0. Another question is how do I get font sizes to stay proportional to the layer. I find the zoom I prefer, set in the type size for that zoom, and then if I need to zoom the font will be out of proportion to the new zoom.
