Hi this might be a dumb question, but is there an automated way to
combine/aggegate a number of smaller polygons, e.g., 10,000 into say 500
large polygons based on a certain field identifier. To explain it a little
clearer I would like to combine all of the small polygons with a value of
"2" into one large polygon with a value of "2". I have used the MapInfo
functionality Object-Combine, but this only combines polygons into one large
polygon, it does not automate the process of aggreagating a number of
smaller polygons into a smaller number of larger polygons. Any help you
could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
