Print your layout to an eps-file and convert it to an PDF-file. Both Photoshop and Illustrator reads pdf-files. Photoshop rasterizes all fonts and vector-graphics while Illustrator also reads vectorgraphics and fonts as source. Both programs should also read EPS-files BUT eps files written by MI has something that either of the two programs like... I still don't know why the PDF-distiller can read them but Illustrator and Photoshop cant.
