What would it take to make a selection out of a raster image? Where I am
going with this is the fact that you can choose to make a certain color
transparent in MapInfo, but instead of making it transparent, could you tell
it to make a polygon instead or any way to take the coordinates that it has
made transparent so you could write a little mbx to make a polygon based on
the selection.
