I would like to be able to create a brand new text object from an existing text object, the only difference being that the new text object has a different font. Right now, I am re-defining a selection of text objects on the map by setting the system font and using Alter Object on each selected text object in conjunction with CurrentFont(). The problem is, although it resets most of the font attributes of the text object, it won't reset the font size. So, now I've tried to create all new text objects with the same attributes, but I've found it difficult to mimic the original object's offset, rotatation etc. Has anyone else worked through such a problem before and come up with code to create a new text object with ALL of the attributes of an existing text object ? Thanks for any thoughts and comments you might have on this matter. Mike Haden Sterne Stackhouse Inc.
