Probably not, the opposite could have if version specific features were
used.
However, I wish to stress that missing tables, altered paths etc are
much more likely to cause trouble than your original concern.
You must understand that a workspace is no more than a script for
opening tables, and displaying them on the screen. Only some original
information is kept in the workspace, such as object created in the
cosmetic layer.
