I used setparent API call to make the VB form a child to the mapinfo
application. Good question as to whether mapInfo takes control of the
visibility of the VB form. Haven't found any API calls to repaint the VB
form. Any other thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

John,
How did you make the VB form a child of MI? If its a child of MI does that
mean that MI is responsible for passing on events to it when it gets
hidden/exposed etc? Maybe if MI doesn't do this properly or otherwise
interfers, you could use a timer on the form to invoke regular repaints.

We are trying to make a Visual Basic Form a child window to MapInfo. Doing
this causes the VB form not to repaint correctly(ie. remnants of browsers or
map windows appear in the VB form as the windows are moved,etc..). Has
anyone found a way to make a VB form a child window to Mapinfo successfully.
