You probably imported these files from ArcInfo files. In that case polylines
will generally be really connected. If not, (end points do not perfectly
correspond), you'd better digitise again !
In the first case, I have a tool to combine the lines automatically, but you
have to select a piece of a given line to launch the process for that line : it
will not identify ALL the lines automatically. Better than nothing but if you
have a hundred files, it may take a bit of time...
