I'm looking for a MapBasic program to calculate the distance between a point and the closes line/polygon in another table. I need it to calculate the distance for each point in the table. The distpp.mbx on the MapInfo-L FTP site is what I'm looking for but it only does one point at a time. I also need it to write the distance to the point table. Any help in finding a gratis or commercial product that will do this will be appreciated.
