Hi,
I have some MIF/MID files that I am working on
translating into a propriatery format for my employer.
They contain the line:
CoordSys Earth Projection 1, 104
I know this is telling me what Projection the
coordinates are in, but I don't know what that is. I
have been using the documentation from
http://www.directionsmag.com/mapinfo-l/mif/Mif-j.htm
to help me decode the MIF/MID format.
If it helps, the MIF/MID files were generated using
the NIMAMUSE VPF_Importer program to export data from
the Vector Map Level 0 (a.k.a. DCW).
I would really like to know what coordinate system "1,
104" means. The data values look like they "might" be
just latitude, longitude, but I'm not sure.
I am not a subscriber to this group, so if you can
help, could you please e-mail your response to:

Thanks very much in advance.
