MapX or MI-Pro in Pipeline Gas/Oil Management

I am interested in having information of the usage of MapX and MI-Pro in managing Pipeline Gas or Oil.

Please kindly direct me to any web-site or product package that you might know - so I can explore more detail.

I need to present a conceptual idea of how GIS could play a vital role in pipeline management to a group of Pipeline Managers in a very near future.
