Job Description/Requirements:
The Sacramento Bee is looking for a Visual/Mapping Analyst who can utilize and interpret market data to create maps and visual presentations. Duties include map production utilizing demographic and business data, conducting analysis and limited data entry, and designing presentation templates. The qualified candidate will have a strong knowledge of Mapping, PowerPoint, and Excel. Two years of Mapping experience is preferred. Experience with or knowledge of GIS Mapping and/or MapInfo is preferable. Familiarity with market research, databases, graphics programs, and multi-media software is a plus. Must be able to work under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously. Must be a proactive, creative individual who can facilitate effective communication with internal customers.
