Good afternoon, I'm looking for a definitive source for information on the PLSS meridians. By browsing through various sources on the Web, I've determined that there are a number (roughly 40+) meridians in use in the PLSS throughout the United States. I'm attempting to develop an algorithm which will generate theoretical lat/long coordinates for PLSS townships and I'm looking for the meridian geodetic coordinates as a crucial element of the algorithm. Is there a source for the geodetic coordinates for the PLSS meridian points of origin ? Is there already a publicly available, widely accepted algorithm for theoretical PLSS lat/long coordinates ?
