If you use the Tool Manager and click on the check box for the Labeler tool,
you can then create a new layer for the labels. Make sure your layer is
labelled first. Use the Labeler tool and choose 'Transfer Current Labels'.
Then select your layer that has the labels followed be 'New' as the option
in To Layer (or the output table). Give your table a file name and that
should work. Then use the process to cross over the labels table to AutoCAD
usind a DXF.

Export the resulting table as a CAD dxf file (a litle hint : in the bonus
tools there is an application that lets you change text globally)This works
and is extremely usefull.

Subject: MI exporting label to CAD

Dear all,
This question has been once raised but seems that there isn't any thread I'm

pursuing it again.

How do we save the label placed in MI into layers in CAD? When we exported
to DXF we found that the label is still kept in DXF but it is not possible
to display them. They can be viewed in AutoCAD as attribute text. Since
there is no labelling in Autocad it will be helpful if these labels are put
as a text layer.

Any help or lead is appreciated.

A.Hakimi
