Natalie, there is a set of batch tools (appropriately called BatchTools.zip)
you can download from the list's collection of shareware/freeware, the url
is: http://www.directionsmag.com/mapinfo-l/IndexFiles.htm
It includes utilities for both import and export of batches of MIFs, as well
as DXFs and some other goodies.
Hope that's what you need.
