If you are working with MapBasic, the function IntersectNodes() has this
purpose:
Calculates the set of points at which two objects intersect, and returns
a polyline object that contains each of the points of intersection.
The length of the returned polyline divided by the first polygon's perimeter
is the portion its perimeter that is shared.
It appears to require some programming. I could not get it to work from the
SQL menu.
It works in MB version 5.0, but has a problem in v.5.5, in that the returned
nodes are ordered in a west to east zig-zag, rather than the original order.
