I would like to create ellipses -- circles, actually -- of a specific radius by the click-and-drag method. The open Ruler window indicates a radius, but upon releasing the mouse button the radius of the resulting circle is not that length: it is shorter when the zoom is wider than the circle and visa versa. As well, the offset varies with circle size relative to the zoom width. Does anyone know exactly what is happening or why? I thought I had come up with a handy method for triangulating in the Cosmetic Layer, but this behavior will nix that.
