I know there is an easy way to do this, but it isn't happing for me! I have a table with data by year and a column with percent decline by section that I created from a spreadsheet in Excel. I would like to label my map with both the 1999 year and the percent decline. So I tried using expression (label dialog) following the manual and tried the column 1999 (Chrs$913) + percentdecline, but get a syntax error. I know there is some dumb little thing I am not doing.
