I am a fairly new user of Mapinfo so would appreciate some advice: I have several polygons around which I have created buffers. I need to create the 'buffers' as separate polygons for further analysis. To me the obvious way to do this would be to do the opposite of a intersect, ie take the area of the buffer which doesn't intercept the original polygon. However I have not found a way to do this in Mapinfo 5.01. Any ideas/pointers on this or other methods much appreciated.
