I received the following responses to my request: >From Sean Richards: You will find some great boundary data for China at http://www.datamall.com.au <http://www.datamall.com.au> . >From Kazuhiko Yamashita: You can download vector data of the world. When desired files are extracted, you have to convert them into Mapinfo Tab files with Arc tools which is already handled on Mapinfo as a Mapbasic tool. http://www.maproom.psu.edu/dcw/ <http://www.maproom.psu.edu/dcw/> >From Claude Beaumont: You can find some maps of china here: http://sedac.ciesin.org/china/ <http://sedac.ciesin.org/china/> Mark Knudsen suggested that I use the World data supplied with MI. I found all of these suggestion's to be really useful, providing me with a really good resource for locating similar information in the future.
